An hour by car from Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and a few kilometers from Collodi, the town of Pinocchio, we have available for holiday rental a rustic country house, newly restored and nestling in the beautiful Tuscan countryside rich in art and history.

We Offer

Sleeping accomodation consists of two bedrooms, shared bathroom and a fully equiped kitchen. The owners live next door and are available to offer information and suggestions. The accomodation does not include meals. You can either cook for yourselves or you can avail yourselves of the wonderful and reasonably priced local restaurants where you will experience traditional Tuscan cooking.

How to get there

By air:

To Pisa Airport: Hire a car and drive to Lucca and then to Pescia. Follow the signs to Vellano (which is about 15 minutes from Pescia).

To Florence Airport: Hire a car and drive to Pescia and then follow the signs to Vellano (which is about 15 minutes from Pescia).

By road:

If you are coming on the autostrada A1 Roma-Bologna: Take the autostrada A11 in Florence in the direction of Pistoia-Lucca-Pisa. Exit at Chiesina Uzzanese and in 10 minutes you will be in Pescia. Then follow the signs to Vellano (which is about 15 minutes from Pescia).

If you are coming on the autostrada A12 Genova-Livorno: Take the autostrada A11 in Pisa Nord in the direction of Lucca-Lucca-Pistoia. Exit at Chiesina Uzzanese and in 10 minutes you will be in Pescia. Then follow the signs to Vellano (which is about 15 minutes from Pescia).

A car will be essential as the house is situated in the foothills of the Appenines and will be indispensable for shopping and sightseeing.
